Everyone is invited to participate.
We will be meeting behind the East hill church at 9:30am (this is subject to change – on September 25th, we will have confirmation on our group color and parade route). We will all check in with one of the parade coordinators on site as to where our color/spot is and meet there. When we have walked the entire parade route we will end up back at the starting point for the gymnasts to be picked up.
Parents are welcome to walk in the parade with the gymnasts, however parents need to have Rigert Elite attire on or our gym colors. Rigert Elite shirts are available in the front office, please check with Danita or Linda for availability and sizes asap as they might need to order more shirts prior to the parade. We will be looking for some parent volunteers. Please let us know if you are available.
Each group in the parade is bringing a small new teddy bear to donate to the trauma intervention program (Rigert Elite is bringing one for our group) but if you want to donate one as well, feel free to bring one, it goes to a great cause.
Team Girl Gymnasts need to wear their team apparel (sleeveless leo and black shorts with warm-up jacket if chilly), and you might want to bring gloves and water. Team Boys can wear their black shirts and shorts. All recreational gymnasts can wear any leotard and shorts that you may have.
There will be no distributing of candy or flyers etc. allowed!
We will have a sign up sheet in the front Lobby area if you are planning to attend.
