Update on weekend events

So much going on this weekend!!!

Friday ~ (no Friday Fun Night) Join us for Wood Village Night Out! 5-9pm at Wood Village Baptist Church. We will have a spot set up. Bring the family & friends and join the evening of fun! We will also have a demo time @ 7:25pm on the field (please arrive to the booth BY 7pm). http://www.ci.wood-village.or.us/events/city-nite-out-july-18th/

Saturday ~ Who wants to walk with us in the Troutdale Parade? We are spot #3 in the parade, and performing a demo afterwards.

Here is the updated regarding the Troutdale Parade and Summerfest…..
We will be walking in the parade and performing at Glen Otto Park thereafter, see below for detailed info regarding times and drop off/pick up locations.
 
 

Drop Off Location– Rigert Elite will be located @ Space #3. Located in Downtown Historic Troutdale, as with any parade roads may be closed, parking is in surrounding area, please plan accordingly. Please plan to arrive prior to staging @ 9:45-10:00

Pick Up Location– We will be located at the Rigert Elite Vending Booth located within Glen Otto Park (end of parade route). We will be performing in the park following the parade route between 12:00-12:45.
Please see below for more info regarding the Troutdale Parade and Summerfest, we hope to see everyone there. Please wear Rigert Elite Gear and/or colors, team members in performance attire.

Troutdale’s 42nd Annual Summerfest

Downtown Historic Troutdale and Glenn Otto Park

SummerFest is a family-friendly event that will include activities and entertainment for everyone in the family!

Kids will enjoy numerous events and opportunities including our “Chalk It Up†event on the Historic Columbia River Highway, a free kids “Build It†venue sponsored by The Home Depot, and the Troutdale Recreation Department’s creative art and craft projects. Children will also enjoy special events in Glenn Otto Park, such as a series of cake-walks sponsored by Trader Joe’s, and rides in the park.

Adults will be treated to a variety of music and other entertainment in the park, as well as getting a chance to see and sample the wares of dozens of creative and enjoyable vendor booths. It’s a street party!

Kids and adults alike will enjoy our traditional parade through downtown Troutdale, with its numerous floats, marching bands, and marchers distributing candy.

Bring the whole family, and celebrate One Community with Many Cultures!

A few notes on Metro East channels: all of the programs will air on Cable (if you have satellite these channels will not be available). Channels 21 & 29 are most of Downtown Portland out to East County. Channel 27 will air East County only.
